Reported by: boatschafter Owned by: ofer
Priority: major Milestone: 0.7 - Coming Major
Component: WordPress Plugin Version: 0.8.1
Keywords: fatal error, out of memory, installation Cc:

Description

The installation of transposh caused a fatal error while activating the plugin:

Cannot activate plugin

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 29884416) (tried to allocate 77824 bytes) in /homepages/24/d345287592/htdocs/wordpressde/wordpress/wp-admin/includes/schema.php on line 523

This seems to be a issue with another plugin, since wp is equipped with lot's of memory.

Hi,

Looks like a php memory error, the limit is probably at 30M, try to look for it in php.ini or some stray .htaccess file

Hi there,

hoster (1and1) will not allow me to access php.ini file, thus I used the .htaccess and wpconfig.ini version of defining memory boundries and set memory to 90M (max. allowed by hoster)

No difference: transposh will not install.

Any other reason why this fatal error appears?

Hi again,

If this same error appears, than memory was not increased, sorry.
I would contact my hosting provider again, or simply switch provider.

Sorry I can't help much further.
