Actually, they are translated by transposh, but can't be manually translated by transposh.
This is more of the javascript of the menu issue, and I can't think of a way that I can fix it.
The plan is to add a more complex interface for the translation of multiple strings, those strings will show there, but until then... nothing much to do

The admin bar is now translatable using the next/previous buttons in the new interface, although it is still a bit tricky since its not visible, but the translation works.
